Counselor's Corner
The Counseling Crew has been busy working with students on the first two Leader in Me habits. Students are learning how to be proactive and how and why we set goals by beginning with the end in mind. We have been getting to know more students as we are facilitating student needs through individual and group counseling sessions. Quite a few of our students are earning Golden Tickets from their bus drivers for good bus behavior, and we look forward to receiving more of those tickets!
Improving attendance is one of our main goals since the year has begun. We know that school attendance is one of the biggest predictors of student success as being in the classroom every day allows students to build strong relationships, participate in hands-on learning, and stay on track with their academic goals. Each month we recognize classes with the best attendance as well as those individuals who have perfect attendance for the month. What an achievement! We understand that life situations happen, and we are here to support students and families. We are proud of our young Mustangs and have enjoyed meeting Mustang parents!
Keep up the good work!

Resources
We all have needs and at times, are unsure of where to turn to meet those needs. Here in Spalding County, many resources are available to lend a helping hand. We are so grateful to the Spalding Collaborative for allowing us to use their richly compiled list of resources:
