Dear Moreland Road Families,

My name is Nicki Gore, and I am honored to serve as the Principal of Moreland Road Elementary. I taught and served as an instructional coach at Moreland Road for eleven years, so it feels like I am returning home. I am so glad to be a part of the MRE community again. After teaching at Moreland Road, I served as Assistant Principal at Carver Road Middle and Futral Road Elementary for five years. I am happy to serve alongside the amazing teachers here at Moreland Road.

MRE is a wonderful school, full of adults who will nurture and care for your children. We will continue to empower our students to be college and career-ready. This year our theme is “Anchored in Leadership, Setting Sail for Excellence.” We will continue to pursue excellence in instruction and in caring for our students. I am excited to partner with you this year to nurture our student leaders.
